Orting School Board appoints new director

The News TribuneJanuary 13, 2014

The Orting School Board has selected Iris Lilley to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of David Egts, who is moving to Arizona to pursue a new job opportunity.

Lilley is a 13-year resident of Orting and a paralegal at Microsoft. She was selected from three applicants at a public meeting and interviews last week. Her appointment to fill the seat in Director District 3 will run through November 2015. At that time, the position will be placed on the ballot for a four-year term.
