Police looking to identify Tacoma Bartell's robber

Staff writerJanuary 15, 2014

Tacoma Police are asking the public to help identify the robber of a Bartell's pharmacy.

A man entered the store just after 7 p.m. Jan. 9 in the 3600 block of 6th Avenue, approached the pharmacy counter, and implied he had a weapon as he demanded prescription pain pills, police said.

The man walked out of the store with the pills, they said.

He's described as a white man in his late 40s, about 5 foot 9, with a medium build and a brown mustache. He was wearing a brown leather jacket, black t-shirt, dark blue jeans and a light colored baseball cap at the time of the robbery.
