Three new lemurs go on exhibit Saturday at Point Defiance Zoo

Black ruffed lemurs will make their debut Jan. 18 at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium.

Three new lemurs will debut at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium this weekend.

The black and white ruffed lemurs will be housed in the Kids’ Zone area and will be featured in keeper talks at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

The new lemur troop includes Albert and Saunders, both born in 2011, and Tiffany, born in 1994. They join two black lemurs and three ring-tailed lemurs.
