Charles Wright student part of history program

The News TribuneJanuary 20, 2014

Taylor Walsh, a student at Charles Wright Academy, was one of 15 students selected from a pool of international student applicants to participate in a months-long history program concentrating on the Normandy invasion on D-Day during World War II. It is part of the nonprofit National History Day program.

Walsh is the only representative from the Pacific Northwest region and, along with history teacher Nick Coddington, will travel to Washington, D.C., and then to Paris and Normandy, France, to complete research on the project.
