Bates helping parents ready kids for school

Bates Technical College’s Child Studies department is hosting programs and classes to help parents and caregivers provide the best start to their child’s education.

The next free class is 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the South Campus Auditorium, 2201 S. 78th St., Tacoma. It will feature a panel of kindergarten teachers discussing how to get children ready for kindergarten.
