Recap: North Dakota vs. Sacramento St

Grand Forks, ND (SportsNetwork.com) - Troy Huff registered a double-double with 20 points and 14 boards as North Dakota beat the Sacramento State Hornets 82-71 in a Big Sky showdown at the Sioux Center.

Alonzo Traylor added 17 points for North Dakota (7-10, 4-3 Big Sky), which has won back-to-back games. Josh Schuler scored 12 points while Jamal Webb had six assists.

Zach Mills tallied 20 points and five boards for the Hornets (6-10, 2-5), who have lost five of their last seven contests. Dylan Garrity chipped in 18 points.

North Dakota drained 58.3 percent of its field goal attempts in the first half as it held a 34-26 lead into the intermission. Sacramento State made just 31 percent of its shots from the floor in the period.

Both teams played well in the second frame as the hosts hit 57.1 percent of their field goal tries and the Hornets connected on 56 percent of their shots from the field. North Dakota was able to hold off the Hornets' resurgence by going on a 13-6 run with 6:44 left after being up only three.

North Dakota's bench outscored Sacramento State's reserves 33-14.
