Eighth-graders can get to know Bonney Lake, Sumner high schools

Eighth-grade students and their families can attend one or both high school showcase events to learn about their choices for classes and activities at Bonney Lake and Sumner high schools.

Information about attendance boundary open houses will also be available.

Come for the entire evening or for an orientation session. Events are scheduled for:

 • Feb. 6: Sumner High School, 1707 Main St., 6-7:30 p.m. Orientation sessions will begin at 6:15 and 7. Sessions will include an overview of the Sumner High School registration process and an introduction to the International Baccalaureate program.

 • Feb. 11: Bonney Lake High School, 10920 199th Ave. Court E., 6-7:30 p.m. Orientation sessions begin at 6 and 6:45. Information will include descriptions of Honors courses, Advanced Placement and teaming of core classes.
