California sandwich shop expanding to Puget Sound area

A California-based sandwich shop chain says it plans to expand it footprint soon to the Puget Sound area.

Togo's Eateries Inc., which has 325 locations and under development in the West, says it is seeking franchise operators in the Seattle and Tacoma markets. It also plans to expand in Denver, Tucson and additional markets in California.

The San Jose-based sandwich shop this week announced it has signed 48 agreements to expand the chain in Colorado, Arizona, Oregon and Utah.

The company says its experienced four consecutive years of same-store sales increases.
