Astros agree to terms with Jerome Williams

Houston, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - The Houston Astros and pitcher Jerome Williams have agreed to terms on a one-year contract.

According to MLB.com, the deal is pending a physical exam that will be performed Wednesday in Houston.

The 32-year-old Williams went 9-10 with a 4.57 ERA in 37 games (25 starts) with the Angels in 2013.

Williams is 42-27 with a 4.35 ERA in 155 career games (117 starts) with the Giants, Cubs, Nationals and Angels.
