A Kent woman was shot in the head and seriously wounded in her home Sunday night with at least five children present.

Police said the gunman is still on the loose and they haven’t figured out a motive.

Someone fired multiple shots into the home in the 24500 block of 104th Avenue SE about 9 p.m. Officers responded and found the woman. She was taken to an area hospital.

The children range in age from an infant to a teenager. Nobody but the woman was injured.
