It's probably a rare event in Cuba to have a concert cancelled due to snow, but in the Northwest it's been happening a lot recently. Luckily for Cuban music fans, the concert at Olalla Community Hall that was cancelled on Feb. 9 due to snow has been rescheduled for this Sunday afternoon.
Guitarist Alejandro Fleites and the Sin Embargo trio will play a concert of Cuban, jazz & Latin music 2 p.m. Feb. 23 at the Olalla Community Hall, 12970 Olalla Valley Rd., Olalla.
Tickets are available at Al's Store in Olalla, Allstar Guitar in Gig Harbor and at the door. Suggested donation is $15. The concert supports the work of the Olalla Community Club and the Olalla Bluegrass & Beyond Festival.
