Staff writerFebruary 18, 2014

The city of Edgewood is closing a portion of Jovita Boulevard overnight Tuesday due to landslide hazards.

The road closure will extend from 114th Avenue East to West Valley Highway starting at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The road will reopen after 6 a.m. on Wednesday, as long as no additional slides occur overnight, according to a news release from the city.

Emergency and local access will be maintained, the release says.
