The risk of avalanche is “considerable” Saturday in the Cascades and Olympics according to the Northwest Avalanche Center website, nwac.us.
The “considerable” threat level is the organization’s third highest. Friday the risk of avalanche reached the NWAC’s second highest level, “high,” on the east slopes of the Cascades.
