Robber may have struck thrice on Pacific Avenue in Spanaway-Parkland

Staff writerFebruary 25, 2014

Detectives are looking for a man they believe recently robbed several businesses in the Spanaway and Parkland areas.

He’s described as white, about 50, 6 feet, with a slender build, graying hair and thick black-rimmed glasses.

Pierce County sheriff’s deputies think the man robbed the Twin Star Credit Union in the 13500 block of Pacific Avenue South on Feb. 10 by giving the teller a robbery note and running away with cash.

They think the same man stole cash Dec. 31 from a register at a Denny’s restaurant in the 10800 block of Pacific Avenue and on Dec. 5 robbed a Key Bank in the 13800 block of Pacific Avenue South.

Anyone with information is asked to call Tacoma-Pierce County Crime Stoppers at 253-591-5959.

Tips are anonymous and can result in a reward.
