KeyBank honors Washington region as best in the company

Staff writerFebruary 27, 2014

Among KeyBank’s nine regions in 12 states nationwide, Washington has been named as 2013 Region of the Year.

The award, according to a KeyBank release this week, “recognizes the highest ranking region based on overall financial performance, service to clients and commitment to community.”

Highlights of the winning regional performance include increased loans and deposits over the previous year, exemplary responses from customer surveys, and a commitment to volunteerism and philanthropy.

South Puget Sound Market President Steve Maxwell said, “Our bankers work a team to provide effective financial services and counsel, and Washington companies have rewarded us with their business.”

KeyBank operates 156 branches in Washington.
