Davie, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Miami Dolphins have promoted John Benton to offensive line coach.

Benton takes the place of Jim Turner, who was fired Feb. 20 in the wake of the Wells Report detailing a pattern of harassment by players on Miami's offensive line.

Benton was hired just last month as assistant offensive line coach after eight seasons as offensive line coach of the Houston Texans. Jack Bicknell Jr. has been named Miami's new assistant offensive line coach.
