Police looking for man who robbed Tacoma pizza place while smoking

Police are looking for a man they say robbed a Tacoma pizza restaurant while smoking a cigarette Jan. 18.

He entered a Little Caesars Pizza joint about 10:50 p.m. in the 100 block South 38th Street, displayed a handgun, threatened employees, and demanded cash, police said.

He took the money and fled.

The man is described as white, in his 40s or 50s, about 5 foot 10, with a medium build and a full brown beard.

He was wearing blue jeans and an orange hooded sweatshirt, with a design on the left chest.

Anyone with information about the robber's identity is asked to call 253-591-5959.

Tips are anonymous and can result in a reward.
