Puyallup Jazzercise instructor Ellen Hull will host a free workout and open house March 8.

The 9 a.m. event will be held at the Pierce County Parks and Recreation’s Meridian Habitat Community Center, 14422 Meridian East, Puyallup.

“This event allows me to thank all the students who have made Jazzercise a success in Puyallup,” Hull said. “I also want to give the public an opportunity to see what Jazzercise is all about.”

The one-hour class will be lead Rich Mundy, Jazzercise’s Pacific Northwest district manager. The class starts with a warm up and includes aerobic, muscle-toning and cool-down segments. The high-energy classes incorporate elements of dance, resistance training, pilates, yoga and kickboxing and is open to people of all ages and fitness levels, Hull said.
