Tacoma Historical Society to move downtown

The Tacoma Historical Society will move to the Provident Building downtown April 1, officials said Monday.

The space at 919 Pacific Ave. will be the society’s museum and event and retail center, real estate firm NAI Puget Sound Properties said in a release.

The society’s current location is 3712 S. Cedar St., according to its website.

Linmar-Tacoma is the landlord of the Provident Building.
