A pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle in Puyallup Monday has died from his injuries, police chief Bryan Jeter said Tuesday morning.

Tracy Frederick, 35, was pronounced dead at St. Joseph Medical Center about 10:45 p.m., four hours after he was struck in a crosswalk at South Meridian and 35th Avenue.

Frederick was walking his bicycle across the street with two other men when he was struck by the northbound vehicle.

The 39-year-old driver stopped and it appeared she had a green light when Frederick was hit, Jeter said. Drugs or alcohol are not believed to be involved.
