Audiences have been stampeding to "Odysseo" - the Cirque du Soleil-like equestrian spectacle at Redmond's Marymoor Park. In response ten matinee and evening performances have been added to the schedule through March 30.
"Odysseo" opened on Feb. 19 featuring 66 horses and 52 human performers. It's an eye-popping show of ethereal music, dream-like interactions between horses and humans and some death-defying stunts.
The show one-ups itself from the previous version which brought a similar (but smaller) big top tent to Marymoor. "Odysseo" uses a gigantic screen, an actual on-stage hill, functional carousel and, of course, beautiful horses and lithe performers to create a sensory overload.
If you're not a horse lover before seeing this show you just might be after.
Tickets are priced from $34.50 to $149.50 plus applicable taxes and fees.
The Rendez-Vous package offers premium seats, buffet dining before the show, open bar, desserts during intermission and a visit of the stable after the show. It takes place in a tent alongside the White Big Top. Prices range from $139.50 to $229.50 plus applicable taxes and fees.
