Friday is the last day lawmakers can consider policy bills.

Budgets, taxes and related issues are the only proposals that can be considered in the last six days of the session that ends Thursday.

Anything else that isn't sent to the governor's desk by 5 p.m. Friday is dead -- although the dead can always be revived in Olympia.

Lawmakers expect to work late Friday and into the weekend. The medical-marijuana overhaul is among the measures that could show up on their schedule.
