Surveillance photos released of bank robber in Auburn

King County sheriff’s detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of recently robbing two banks.

The first robbery took place March at a Chase Bank branch inside Fred Meyer in Auburn. The second robbery occurred just before 11 a.m. Thursday at a Chase Bank branch in Fred Meyer in the 16700 block of SE 272nd St, Covington.

The suspect handed the teller a note and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

He is black, in his 30s and about 6-feet-3. He was last seen wearing a Miama Heat cap, grey button-up jacket and jeans.
