Backstreet Boys to play WaMu with Avril Lavigne

Tacoma News TribuneMarch 14, 2014

The Backstreet Boys announced today that they will play WaMu Theater in Seattle with Avril Lavigne on May 22. It's part of their In A World Like This tour. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on March 21.

The stop, and several others announced today, represent a tour extension for BSB. They are proving that 2013 was more than just a fluke. Some of their concerts last summer reached 16,000 per night.

BSB played the Tacoma Dome in July, 2011 with New Kids on the Block.

It’s been an exciting year of honors and accolades for AJ, Brian, Howie, Kevin and Nick. In A World Like This debuted in the Top 5, the group received a star on the legendary Hollywood Walk of Fame, performed for the President of the United States and made an unforgettable appearance in the Seth Rogen hit film This Is The End, which earned the guys a “Best Musical Moment” award nomination at this year’s MTV Movie Awards (April 13).
