Milton's interim police chief accepts dual role

Mark Langford, who was appointed Milton's interim police chief in December last year, formally accepted a second role as the interim city administrator.

The retired Tacoma police officer takes over for Subir Mukerjee, who recently started a new role as Fife's deputy city manager. 

Langford will serve the city of Milton in both capacities for an "indeterminate period of time," according to a city news release.
