Washington state parks offer free entry Wednesday

Washington State Parks will waive its $10 per vehicle entry fee to its more than 100 parks on Wednesday.

The free day is in honor of the state park service’s 101st anniversary. It is the third of 12 free days this year.

A Discover Pass cost $30 per year or $10 per day. The remaining free days are April 19, April 22, May 11, June 7-8, June 14, Aug. 25, Sept. 27 and Nov. 11.

Fees for camping, other overnight accommodations and Sno-Parks still apply.
