Mudslide closes two miles of SR 7

Staff writerMarch 18, 2014

A mudslide has forced the closure of state Route 7 near Ohop Valley Road to 416th Street East, according to the state Department of Transportation.

Both directions of SR 7 were shut down Monday morning from milepost 30 to milepost 32. It’s unclear when they will be reopened.

A signed detour is in place to guide drivers around the slide.
