Sentimental Journey: A free ride for hospice patients

Video by Drew Perine Hospice patient Dorothy Heikkinen, 85, shares memories of her recent ride with East Pierce Fire & Rescue, who transported her and her husband, Derry Fitch, 84, via aid car as part of the "Sentimental Journey" program. Heikkinen, who has pulmonary fibrosis and a congestive heart condition, had her choice of destination for a free trip and she chose to join her son and daughter in Gig Harbor for lunch.
