Lakewood hosts Communities in Schools breakfast

Communities in Schools of Lakewood is hosting its annual benefit breakfast at 7 a.m. Thursday at Old Country Buffet in Lakewood Towne Center.

Proceeds will support the organization’s work of preventing school dropouts. Brandon Stogsdill, a former dropout now holding a master’s degree in psychology, will be the keynote speaker. Reservations can be made by calling 253-589-7489.
