Two former Olympic athletes are expected to be in attendance April 5 when the National Speedskating Circuit comes to Tacoma.
The professional inline skating race, similar to short track speed skating, starts at 6 p.m. at the Tacoma Armory, 715 S. 11th St. Tickets are $15 if purchased in advance at pronsc.com. Tickets are $18 at the door. Those with military identification can get tickets for $10.
NSC president Miguel Jose says former Olympic speed skaters KC Boutiette and Joey Mantia will be in attendance.
This is the second race of season for the Federal Way-based NSC.
