A man robbed a teriyaki restaurant in Tacoma Saturday afternoon and fled the scene, police said.

The robbery took place about 12:20 p.m. in the 8400 block of South Hosmer Street, said Tacoma police spokeswoman Loretta Cool.

The suspect did not have a weapon in what Cool described as a strong-armed robbery.

Police don’t know what he took but are investigating.
