Salem wine event benefits children at risk of abuse

April 3, 2014

Salem, OR - An estimated 450 wine lovers will gather at the Zenith Vineyard event facility on May 17 to raise their glasses and their bids on behalf of children at risk of abuse. Presented by Pain Care Specialists’ Dr. Poly Chen, the 7th Annual Uncorked Wine Auction is the only of its kind in the Willamette Valley, featuring sought-after wines from top producers and unique travel and culinary opportunities.

“I attend many fundraising auctions yearly; however this event is my favorite. Uncorked is in my own backyard, the venue and the feel is smaller, well-organized and raises a surprising amount of money for a great cause.” Joe Dobbes, Owner & Winemaker, Dobbes Family Estate.

Tickets to the event include a winemakers’ reception with top local producers providing tastes of their wine and talented NW chefs presenting samples of their fare. A gourmet multi-course dinner from Vibrant Table Catering follows and is paired with critically acclaimed wines.

The live auction features impressive vacation packages, world-class wines, and exclusive experiences. Afterwards, celebrate with live entertainment from DesignBand. Wine lovers, collectors and those interested in access to exclusive opportunities not found elsewhere are encouraged to attend.

Just a few of the auction packages currently in the works: • 52 Bottles of Highly Rated French Wines • Trip to the France’s Southern Wine Region • Original Artwork from Jon Jay Cruson
