A dog died in a Kent house fire early Sunday.

The blaze displaced two adults who were not injured, and seven other pets – two cats and five dogs.

A resident of the home called to report the fire about 4:20 a.m. in the 22900 block of 114th Way SE, according to Kent Fire.

Multiple agencies responded to the blaze.

Crews put out the fire on the upper floor of the split-level home in about 20 minutes.

Investigators had not yet determined the cause of the fire.
