Carlos Santana has heart. He also has 10 Grammys and 100 million records sold during a career that pioneered the fusion of rock and Latin music.

On Aug. 1, he'll bring all that and more when Santana plays the White River Amphitheatre in Auburn. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.

Santana's 40-year-long career has produced as many albums. Not bad for a guitarist.

He's also won three Latin Grammys and his record-tying nine Grammys were for 1999's "Supernatural" (including Album of the Year and Record of the Year for "Smooth"). He's a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and on Dec. 8 was the recipient of the 2013 Kennedy Center Honors Award.

Santana's latest release, "Corazon" (RCA/Sony Latin Iberia) is out on May 6. It's a collaborative effort with Chocquibtown, Gloria Estefan, Juanes, Miguel, Niña Pastori, Pitbull, Soledad, Diego Torres, Samuel Rosa of Skank, and more.
