University of Puget Sound prof answers your physics questions in new book

Tacoma News TribuneApril 9, 2014

Andrew Rex, professor of physics at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, has published a new book Commonly Asked Questions in Physics (CRC Press, 2014).

The book covers everything from antimatter to quarks, and requires no prior background in physics or math. It is intended for students of physics and scientists, as well as for anyone with an interest in some of the basic principles that rule our universe.

One reviewer calls it “somewhere between a very basic introductory text, a quick refresher, and a sequence of answers to interesting physics questions.”

Rex is a professor and chair of the physics department at the university.
