Avalanche special advisory issued for Cascades, Olympics

NWAC has issued a an avalanche special advisory for the Cascades and Olympics.


The Northwest Weather and Avalanche Center has issued a special avalanche warning advisory for the Olympics and the Cascades.

The forecast says large storm and wind slab avalanches are likely and large loose, wet avalanches are also possible.


The forecast applies to backcountry travelers away from controlled terrain such as ski areas. For detailed explanations of the conditions visit NWAC.us.
