News anchor Dan Lewis is stepping down after 27 years at KOMO, the veteran newsman announced to staff on Wednesday.

Television news "has been my passion for four decades," Lewis said in a post on the KOMO website. "To this day I love my job but I just feel like I need a break from the news."
