Traffic continues to be slow on state Route 16 near Wollochet Drive as crews work to remove a semi-tractor trailer that struck a cable barrier and stopped in the median, according to the state Department of Transportation.

The crash happened about 12:30 p.m. and initially blocked the left eastbound lane.

Lanes reopened 20 minutes later but now the left westbound lane is blocked while workers remove the truck.
