PUYALLUP: Emerald Ridge student gets $2,500 scholarship

Miles Hubble from Emerald Ridge High School received a $2,500 scholarship from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.

He is one of about 800 outstanding high school seniors nationwide who have won awards through the National Achievement Scholarship Program. The program is a privately financed academic competition established in 1964 to honor scholastically talented black youths.
