Mount St. Helens' Johnston Ridge Observatory to open May 10

Mount St. Helens’ Johnson Ridge Observatory will open for daily operations on May 10 at 10 a.m., the Forest Service said in a statement released Monday.

 

The observatory will be open daily until 6 p.m. Mount St. Helens Science and Learning Center at Coldwater is currently open to the public from 10am-4pm on Saturdays and Sundays and will be extending their hours to 6pm.  Admission to Johnston Ridge and Science and Learning Center is $8 per person, kids 15 and under are free.  Free admission days are May 18, June 7, June 14, and Sept. 27.
