New exhibit at PLU tells the story of Scandinavian immigration to Tacoma area

A new exhibit that tells the story of Scandinavian immigration to the Tacoma area is open at the Scandinavian Cultural Center at Pacific Lutheran University.

The exhibit, which remains on display through July 15, features material drawn from the university’s collections. 

Hours at the Scandinavian Cultural Center are Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sundays, 1 to 4 p.m.. Reduced summer hours begin at the end of May.
