Woman shot in crossfire at 19th and MLK, suffers minor injuries

A woman shot about 2:30 p.m. Monday at 19th Street South and Martin Luther King Jr. Way in Tacoma was caught in the crossfire of two men shooting at each other, police said.

Police spokeswoman Loretta Cool said the woman, 45, suffered minor injuries and took herself to the hospital.

Cool said police were still looking for the suspects, who were described as black, in their mid 20s.

Further details were not immediately available.
