Detectives looking for Summit bank robber

Detectives are looking for a man who robbed a Summit bank Monday.

The masked robber entered the Columbia Bank just before 11 a.m. in the 10300 block of Canyon Road East, pointed a handgun at the tellers, and demanded cash, according to Tacoma-Pierce County Crime Stoppers. He fled with the money.

The robber is described as black, in his late 20s or early 30s, about 6 foot with a medium build. He was wearing a dark gray hooded sweatshirt, gray knit gloves, dark blue jeans, with a black bandana covering his face.

Crime Stoppers has a video of the robbery.

Anyone with information is asked to call Tacoma-Pierce County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477).

Tips are anonymous and can result in a reward.
