Gig Harbor’s Mike Toglia pitched a complete-game five-hitter, and the Tides advanced to the Narrows 4A tournament title game with a 5-1 win over Olympia in Lacey. Toglia and Mark Sluys combined for half of the Tides’ eight hits. Gig Harbor (15-6) will play regular-season champ South Kitsap at 4 p.m. Friday for the title.

Decatur’s Jake Kolterman struck out 11, and the Golden Gators (15-6) erupted for nine sixth-inning runs in the 11-1 win over Kennedy in the semifinals of the SPSL 3A/Seamount subdistrict baseball tournament at Auburn Mountainview.

Celine Woo, Courtney Schwan and Ashlynn Ota drove in four runs apiece, and Bellarmine Prep pounded Stadium, 21-4, in Narrows 4A fastpitch. Woo finished 5-for-5 for the Lions (9-7, 5-4).

The Lincoln boys won 11 events while the Wilson girls held off Stadium for the team titles at the Tacoma All-City Meet at Mount Tahoma. The Abes tallied 142 points while the Rams edged Stadium, 110-101. Multiple winners include Walker Flynn (200, 400 meters), Therron Randle (110 hurdles, 300 hurdles) and Ahmaad Rorie (long jump, triple jump) for the Abes on the boys side; and Wilson’s Aujanique Doss (200, 400), Stadium’s Anna Geffen (600, 1,600), Wilson’s Jemila Leppard (shot put, discus) and Mount Tahoma’s Rejie Wright (high jump, long jump) on the girls’ side.
