Toronto, ON (SportsNetwork.com) - The Toronto Blue Jays activated first baseman Adam Lind from the 15-day disabled list Thursday and optioned pitcher Chad Jenkins to Triple-A Buffalo.

Lind landed on the disabled list with tightness in his lower back and has been absent from the Blue Jays' lineup since April 15.

The 30-year-old slugger batted .324 with one home run and six RBI over 13 games prior to being sidelined.

Jenkins has made three appearances with the Blue Jays this season, yielding three runs on five hits over three innings of work.
