Arson damages vacant Tacoma home

Arson heavily damaged a Tacoma home early Sunday, Tacoma Fire said.

The blaze happened about 3 a.m. at 815 East 61st Street.

Firefighters found flames and smoke coming from the vacant two-story home.

No one was injured.

The Tacoma Police Department is investigating.

Damage to the vacant structure is estimated at $160,000, and $2,000 to a neighboring home.
