22-year-old man shot in Federal Way dies from gunshot wound

Federal Way police on Tuesday were investigating a shooting overnight that killed a 22-year-old man.

Officers were called to an apartment complex parking lot in the 28100 block of 18th Avenue South shortly after 1 a.m. and found a man with a gunshot wound.

The shooting occurred east of where the victim was found, police said. Detectives secured both scenes and began searching for evidence.

No arrests have been made.

The victim, who has not been identified, later died at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
