Federal Way worker accused of pocketing $14,000 in poop-in-pool refunds

A former worker at the Federal Way Community Center has been charged with first-degree theft for allegedly pocketing refunds for poop in the city pool.

Swimmers are supposed to get a refund or free return visit if there is human waste or vomit in the pool.

Police say the worker gave the refunds to herself, instead, amounting to more than $14,000.
