B y the numbers The is the number of dump trucks that would be required to carry the sediment that has already been washed downstream following the removal of the Elwha and Glines Canyon Dams. Officials at Olympic Nation Park estimated about 3 million cubic yards of sediment has come downstream, 16 percent of the total amount expected to move downstream in the next five years.
