Auction raised more than $180,000 for Rainier, Olympic, North Cascades national parks

The Washington National Park Fund’s annual Spring Dinner and Auction raised more than $180,000 for Washington three largest national parks, the organization announced May 22.

Mount Rainier, Olympic and North Cascades national parks rangers and scientist were joined by 250 people. A portion of the evening dedicated to trail restoration generated more than $53,000.

 

A statement released by WNPF stated the fundraising “far exceeded its goal.”
